Love this place from the bottom of my heart. Always lively, the range of food and constant changes keep it exciting. My go too’s are the Beef Nikutama and Classic Katsu curry (on udon over rice). Staff is always friendly and cheerful. Would 10000% recommend as a regular lunch spot or a little lunch date

It's always tasty, especially the seasonal offerings, and they have the fastest service in town. Unsurpassed if you're going somewhere after work and would like a quick dinner, or if you just don't feel like cooking at home. It's worth going regularly, the loyalty scheme is generous and there are occasionally little reduced price surprises showing up when you're paying. Fully recommended. The Liverpool St branch can be a bit hectic, but that's the location, and not really their fault. The branch near Marble Arch is more chilled out.

I had a great time at this branch of Marugame Udon near Liverpool Street. One of my favorite dishes is the Chicken and the pumpkin Katsu Curry Udon. The crispy fried chicken and pumpkin tempura pairs well with the mildly spicy curry sauce. The udon dishes is made quickly in front of you, and there's a large range of food options on the menu.
Wanted late night dinner after exploring London & Marugame stood out! We were starving & didn’t really want a slow sit down vibe type of place. Loved the cafeteria style eating! You order & grab what you want, pay & sit down! Seems like a well thought out system. You can grab exactly what you want yourself- no room for ordering errors. Super easy & fast but delicious! Loved the clearly marked vegan choices. The clearly marked vegan selections made it easy to grab! Everything was fresh & made to order. The portions were large & filling. The vegan tofu noodle dish was super flavorful & saucy. The veggies were fresh as well.
Only popped in for a take away and was very warmly welcomed by one of the staff members who offered her help if I struggled to use self service terminal. Food was ready in no time and sealed/packed in leak proof containers. Both dishes were vegetarian and absolutely delicious.
